【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusefulincharacterizingpitchesasoneelementinestablishinguniformityofshipmentsandsourcesofsupply.Withthismethod,thedensityisdeterminedtotwodecimalplaces,whichissufficientformostapplications.Ifamoreprecisemeasurementisrequired(threedecimalplaces),useTestMethodsD2320orD71.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofpitchdensitybyheliumpycnometer.Itisapplicableatarangeofroomtemperaturesof15to35176C.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
