【摘要】:ThispracticedescribesaproceduretogatherdataintendedtomeasuretheuniformityofexposureconditionsupontestspecimensforthefiretestmethodsdescribedinTestMethodsE119,E814,E1529,E1725,E1966andE2336.Thecollecteddatafromfurnacesareintendedtoformabasisforperformancerequirementsforthefurnacesdescribedinthereferencedstandards.Thispracticedoesnotincluderequirementsforfurnaceperformance.Inthisprocedure,thestandardizedtestspecimenissubjectedtooneormorespecificsetsoflaboratorytestconditions.Ifdifferenttestconditionsaresubstitutedortheend-useconditionsarechanged,itisnotalwayspossiblebyorfromthisproceduretopredictchangesinthefire-test-responsecharacteristicsmeasured.Therefore,theresultsarevalidonlyforthefire-test-exposureconditionsdescribedinthisprocedure.Theattentionofallpersonsconnectedwiththeconductofthispracticeisdrawntothefactthatfiretestingishazardousandthatthereisapossibilitythatharmfulsmokeandgasesaredevelopedduringthetest.Thereisalsoapossibilitythatmechanicalandoperationalhazardsdevelopduringtheconstructionofthetestspecimenandthedisposalofthetestresidues.Anassessmentofallpotentialhazardsandriskstohealthshallbemadeandsafetyprecautionsshallbeidentifiedandprovided.Writtensafetyinstructionsshallbeissued.Appropriatetrainingshallbeprovidedtorelevantpersonnel.Laboratorypersonnelshallensurethattheyfollowwrittensafetyinstructionsatalltimes.1.1ThisstandardprovidesgeneralprinciplesformeasuringtheuniformityofthefurnaceexposureonspecimenstestedinaccordancewithTestMethodsE119,E814,E1529,E1725,E1966andE2336.1.2Thispracticespecifiesthematerialsandtheconstructionrequirementsforastandardizedtestspecimenusedtoprovideamountingsurfacefortheinstrumentationthatmeasuresfurnaceexposure.1.3Theinstrumentationrecordstemperatures,pressuredifferentialsandoxygencontentnearthesurfaceofthetestspecimen.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandardisusedtomeasureanddescribetheresponseofmaterials,products,orassembliestoheatandflameundercontrolledconditions,butdoesnotbyitselfincorporateallfactorsrequiredforfirehazardorfireriskassessmentofthematerials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.1.6Firetestingisinherentlyhazardous.Adequatesafeguardsforpersonnelandpropertyshallbeemployedinconductingthesetests.1.7Thisstan......
