【摘要】:ISO22608:2004specifiesatestmethodtomeasurerepellency,retentionandpenetrationofaknownvolumeofliquidpesticidewhenappliedtoprotectiveclothingmaterial.Noexternalhydrostaticormechanicalpressureisappliedtothetestspecimenduringoraftertheapplicationoftheliquidpesticide.Thedegreeofcontaminationdependsonnumerousfactorssuchastypeofexposure,applicationtechnique,andpesticideformulation.Asthelevelofexposurecanvaryconsiderably,thismethodisdesignedtoraterelativeperformanceofpersonalprotectiveequipment(PPE)materialsattwolevelsofcontamination.Lowlevelofcontaminationisachievedbyapplying0,1mlliquidformulationandhighlevelbyapplying0,2ml.Thistestmethoddoesnotmeasureresistancetopermeationordegradation.Thistestmethodissuitableforfieldstrengthandconcentratedpesticideformulations.Thismethodmaynotbesuitablefortestingprotectiveclothingmaterialsagainstvolatilepesticidesformulations.ISO22608:2004isapplicabletotheevaluationofmaterialsthatareneworthosethathaveundergonetreatmentsuchaslaundering,orsimulatedabrasion.Detailsofthetreatmentshallbereported.Thistestmethodcanalsobeusedtodeterminetheresistanceprovidedbyprotectiveclothingmaterialsagainstpenetrationofnewpesticideformulations.
