【摘要】:ThispracticeisusedtostandardizethefiringconditionsofrefractoryconcretespecimenspreparedinaccordancewithPracticeC862.Thestandardsaresetdowntominimizelaboratory-to-laboratoryvariationanddonotattempttoduplicateanyparticularfieldapplications.1.1Thispracticecoversthefiringofspecimensmadefromrefractoryconcretes(castablerefractories)inaccordancewithPracticeC862forcastspecimens.Theprocedureisalsorecommendedforheatingratestobeusedforhigh-temperaturetestmethodssuchasMethodsC16,C583,etc.,whenthesemethodsareusedtotestrefractoryconcretes.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
