【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoverspaperandpaperproductsthathavebeentreatedordesignedtoresistpenetrationbyoilsorgreasescommonlyfoundinfoodstuffs.Suchpapersincludebutarenotlimitedtogreaseproof,glassine,andvegetableparchmentpapers.Thistestmethodprovidesrelativedataregardingthedegreeofgreaseresistanceforthematerialstestedbasedontimerequiredforpenetrationofatestspecimenbyturpentineunderspecifiedlaboratoryconditions.Forpaperorpaperproductsthatarenotpenetratedundertheseconditionsbytheupperarbitrarytimelimitofthetest(1800s),norelativeinformationisprovided.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
